Ekološka pridelava sadja pridobiva pomen zaradi vse večje skrbi za zdravo prehrano in ohranjanje okolja. Ker v ekološki pridelavi ni dovoljena uporaba kemično-sintetičnih snovi, je za tržno uspešno pridelavo potrebno zelo dobro poznavanje bolezni in škodljivcev, njihovih naravnih sovražnikov in samega gostitelja. V prispevku bo podan pregled rezultatov raziskav ter izkušenj in napotkov za varstvo jablan pred boleznimi in škodljivci. Predstavljena bodo tudi osnovna načela ekološke pridelave sadja in možnosti ter izhodišča za razvoj ekološke pridelave jabolk v Sloveniji.

 

Abstract

  ORGANIC APPLE PRODUCTION

 

Organic fruit production is gaining importance with the growing public concern about healthy food and environment. Since the use of synthetic chemicals is not allowed in organic farming, economical production of healthy fruits requires a high level of knowledge about diseases, pests, their natural enemies and the host. Practical experiences, recommendations and research results about disease and pest control in organic apple production will be reviewed in the presentation. Basic principles of organic fruit production and possibilities for organic apple production in Slovenia will also be presented.
